IY 11.98 Fuoriserie It is a boat built for sailors, easy to sail, rational, functional, and versatile for use on a cruise and in races. Built to keep up with ORC and IRC racing fleets, without losing comfort on a cruise, the Fuoriserie version has a sporty soul in its lines and ease of use spaces, ergonomically usable.

CONSTRUCTION
Each element is up to the highest quality standards and has been developed to guarantee the owner a solid, performing, safe and long-lasting boat, for a true luxury sailing experience. The IY 11.98 hull and deck are lightweight and stiff by virtue of the sandwich construction with biaxial and unidirectional fibreglass preg with vinyl ester resin and carbon structures.
STEERING
KEEL
- The keel has a reverse “T” configuration with the blade and torpedo cast in lead with 3% antimony. The geometry has been designed using modern flow simulation software which allowed to obtain a very efficient wing despite a shallow draft.
PROPULSION
- Volvo Penta D2-40 (39.45hp) with sail-drive, placed in a compartment easily accessible and sound insulated.
